What’s a Biohackathon? In this case, it was an immersive learning experience concepted for The California Endowment and California Biotechnology Foundation through Wondros Global.
Students should know biotechnology is embodied. It’s not something done ‘to them’ but something students can actively be a part of and advance. So, we put curricula in practice. Industry leaders and citizen scientists joined ninth graders from Manual Arts High School for a day of experimentation.
