San Diego Foundation Center for Civic Engagement gathered 5,000+ people annually for “Future40” talks focused on social justice innovation. I had the honor of overseeing the public event series that expanded and diversified new audience reach for public programming by over 60%.
Provocative discussions were centered on immediate philanthropic priorities (health and human services, arts and humanities, and environmental equity) with an eye toward 2030. Leila Janah, Scott Budnick, Ai-Jen Poo, Manuel Pastor, and Dolores Huerta were among the iconoclasts we featured.
